Taylan Matkap serves as Appointed Actuary at Anadolu Insurance Company in İstanbul. He specializes in property and casualty insurance ratemaking, Non-Life product development and pricing, risk models and profitability studies. Mr. Matkap holds a bachelor’s degree in statistics from the Ankara University, masters’ degree on Actuarial Science from Boston University.  He currently serves as Secretary General of the Actuarial Society of Turkey. Additionally, he is a member of the Committee on Ratemaking (CASACT). He got his license (for being an actuary) from Turkish Treasury on 11.March.2005 (Registration No: 45).

Before joining at Anadolu Insurance Company in 2008, he has worked as Actuarial Manager/ Appointed Actuary for HDI Insurance Company, Actuary at Yapı Kredi Insurance Company and Supervisor at Ankara (Aegon) Life Insurance and Pension Company (Responsible from Reinsurance agreements, Claims Management, and Actuarial Applications).
